Rosco developed Prismatics to combine bright multi-colored accents with depth and texturing created by the dimensionality of the glass chips. Prismatics are made with Permacolor dichroic filter pieces fused onto an hi-temperature glass base. Prismatics in sharp focus project a shattered spectrum, or softly diffused color blends when focused soft.
Taken out of focus, Prismatics project soft blends of colorful textures. Unlike Colorizers, Prismatics maintain their bright colors, even when focused very softly.
